Buddig Beef Cheese Ball

Buddig Beef Cheese Ball (Photo by Chef in Training)
Recipe by: Amy Bradt                                                                                 Yield: 3 cups

Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
8 ounces sour cream
8 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded
4 green onions, sliced
3 (2-ounce) packages Buddig sliced smoked beef, chopped
chopped toasted pecans, optional

Directions
Mix cream cheese and sour cream until completely blended.  Add remaining ingredients and chill at least two hours.  This is great served in a bread bowl, or with plain old Triscuits.  If you want to make into ball, after chilling for two hours, roll in chopped pecans.

Notes
Everyone asks what's in it, you have to use Buddig! You can make it into a ball, or hollow out a bread bowl and serve with sliced baguettes.
